Extremely Rare ‘Short Tail’ Cradle Assembly, for the Browning M1917, M1919. Used on early Scout Cars, etc.. Original US GI, WWII. This cradle is very similar to the ‘Long Tail’ Cradle Assembly. It has only one traverse bar on the rear of the cradle, for the .30 cal. Browning only. A .30 cal. tripod pintle is mounts to the brass socket and in included. US GI, NOS Condition.
